Can I add Roku to Samsung TV?

As an owner of both a Samsung TV and a Roku streaming device, I have often found myself frustrated at the inability to combine the two. After doing some research and testing, I am here to share how I solved the problem and other solutions I discovered.

To install The Roku Channel on your Samsung TV, press the Home or Smart Hub button on your remote. Navigate down the page to Apps, then search for Roku. When The Roku Channel appears as a search result, simply click on the app and choose Download.

The Roku Channel is compatible with Samsung TVs running the Tizen operating system in versions 2.3 and newer.

If your Roku device is not working with your Samsung TV, try restarting it and switching the device to another HDMI port.
Also try resetting your internet, making sure that you have the right HDMI switcher selected, and removing anything that might be obstructing the remote signal.

Can I add Roku to Samsung TV?

This is the most common fix, but if this does not work, check your remote’s batteries. If they are low, change them out and try again. If the batteries are not low, you may need to reset the remote and/or pair it to the device again.

How to Fix Roku Not Working With Samsung TV?

If you have an external Roku device plugged in, try restarting it. This fixes most issues, but if this does not work, you can try switching the device to another HDMI port on your TV, resetting your internet, making sure that you have the right HDMI switcher selected, and removing anything that might be obstructing the remote signal to the Roku device.
