Do AirPods stay in while working out?

I can tell you that the AirPods pro definitely stay in while working out because I use them for workouts myself.

The advantage that the AirPods pro have is that they have an eartip that helps to latch on to your ears better. Whereas, the regular eartips do not have an eartip, making them more likely to fall out.

How to get AirPods to stay in while working out

Below are some options you have when getting your AirPods to stay in while working out.

You can get an ear hook designed to fit the regular AirPods that fits onto your AirPods and goes around your ears.

These ear hooks will not only help you to keep your AirPods in place, but they will also make sure that the fit of your AirPods is comfortable. Various brands sell these ear hooks, and they all come in different colors.

Get silicon covers

There are silicon covers that you can get for the regular AirPods that will increase the amount of friction that they have with your ears. This will help to prevent your AirPods from sliding out.

Get a bigger eartip

If you find that your AirPod pros are falling out during workouts, the most likely cause is that the eartip you are using is not big enough. In this case, the first thing to try would be to get a bigger eartip.

Try a different type of eartip

Another option would be to try a different type of eartip. If you are currently using silicon eartips, you could try using memory foam tips instead.

The advantage that memory foam tips have is that they expand when you place them in your ear. This can help to give a more secure fit.

It is also possible to get earhooks that you can use with the AirPod pros which will give you a more secure fit.

Are AirPods or AirPods pro better for working out?

If you want to use AirPods for working out, it would definitely be recommended that you get AirPod pros. This is because they have a much better fit in the ear as a result of the eartips.

The noise cancelling feature can also be very useful when you are doing workouts and do not want to be distracted.

Can you use AirPods for workouts?

Only the third gen AirPods and the AirPod pros are sweat resistant, so only those AirPods are recommended for workouts.

However, you can still use gen 1 and gen 2 AirPods for workouts, it will just be necessary for you to try to avoid allowing them to get wet.
