Does transparency mode work on Android with AirPods Pro?

It is possible to use transparency mode with AirPods on Android. To activate transparency mode, you just need to squeeze on the stem of one of the AirPods until you hear a ting sound. However, you cannot activate transparency mode through the Android device itself.

It is not possible to activate transparency mode directly through your Android device like you can on Apple devices. However, this is not an issue because you can just squeeze on the stem of one of the AirPods.

Does noise-canceling mode work on Android with AirPods Pro?

You can still use noise-canceling mode on Android when using AirPods Pro. To activate noise canceling mode all you need to do is to squeeze on the stem until you hear a ding sound.

The noises around you should become a lot less noticeable. If they do not, it is likely that the ear tips are too small and you should get some larger ear tips.

However, when using AirPods Pro with Apple devices, it is possible to activate noise canceling mode through the device itself.

It is not possible to activate noise canceling mode on an Android phone. But, this is not such an issue because you can simply squeeze on the stem.

What features are missing from AirPods with Android?

AirPods come with a number of features that are designed to be used with the Apple ecosystem.

These features include automatic switching between Apple devices depending on which one you are using, interacting with Siri, being able to track AirPods with Find my iPhone, spatial audio, and being able to see the battery life in the AirPods and the case.

AirPods won’t be able to make use of automatic switching, Siri, or Find my iPhone and you won’t be able to see their battery percentage when being used with Android devices.

Do AirPods sound the same on Android?

AirPods sound the same on Android as they sound with Apple devices. The reason for this is that AirPods connect to devices via Bluetooth and all information is passed to the AirPods via Bluetooth.

However, some people say that AirPods sound worse on Android because Android devices cannot process audio codecs fast enough.

But, this does not seem to be such an issue, especially with newer Android devices with lots of processing power and updated software.

Sometimes, AirPods can sound different on Android, but this will usually be due to a fault such as a bad connection or not having the correct Bluetooth setting turned on.
