How To Use Your Phone Internet On Your TV

Like your smartphone, smart TVs and streaming media players can use a Wi-Fi connection to stream content and use various apps. However, unlike your smartphone, smart TVs and media players do not have access to mobile data when the Wi-Fi is slow or down. Many people have questioned whether it’s possible to use your phone’s internet on your TV.

You can use your phone’s internet on your TV if you have enough mobile data and a decent signal. After you’ve enabled the Wi-Fi hotspot on your Android or Apple smartphone, you can connect your smart TV or streaming media player to the hotspot. You can now stream content using your phone’s data!

We’re going to discuss everything you should know about using your phone’s internet on your smart TV or streaming media player! Once we’ve explained how this connection is possible and the factors to consider when attempting this, we’ll outline the steps of connecting your Apple or Android phone’s internet to your TV!

Can You Use Your Phone’s Internet On Your TV?

As we briefly explained above, it’s possible to use your phone’s internet on your smart TV or streaming media players. If you’re struggling with a bad Wi-Fi connection, using your phone’s internet will allow you to keep using your smart TV or media player without unwanted interruptions.

To do this, you’ll need to enable a Wi-Fi hotspot on your Apple or Android smartphone. Once you’ve created a hotspot, you’ll be able to connect your smart TV or streaming media player to your mobile data hotspot. Doing this will allow your TV to utilize your phone’s internet connection to use apps and stream content.

It’s important to note that connecting your TV or media player to your phone’s Wi-Fi hotspot will allow your TV to utilize your mobile data. However, streaming high-resolution content on your TV can quickly use up your available mobile data. You’ll also need good signal strength when using your hotspot to use your smart TV.
