Why are my AirPods disconnecting from my Apple Watch?

A bad connection
It could be the case that your AirPods have a bad connection with your Apple watch. It would help to try reconnecting your AirPods to your Apple watch by forgetting them and then pairing them again.

- Forget the AirPods on the device you are using
- Put your AirPods in the case
- Open the lid and press the button on the case for 15 seconds until it flashes orange
- Wait 30 seconds
- Open the lid and hold the button on the case

AirPods have a feature that allows them to automatically switch between Apple devices.
