Troubleshoot any lagging issues with Apple AirPlay by following some of the steps outlined above.

Why is AirPlay Lagging With Sharp TV?

The likely reason why you are lagging with Apple AirPlay and your Sharp TV is due to the wifi connection you have.

You need a solid wifi connection in order to be able to broadcast content seamlessly and in a smooth fashion to your Sharp TV.

When you have a wifi signal that is not fast enough, that is when you may run into a lot of lag.

Identifying Lagging Issues With Sharp TV

You need to work to figure out why you are running into lagging issues with your Sharp TV.

There are some steps you can take, many of which revolve around you spending a good chunk of time taking a look at your wifi signal.

Investigating the WiFi

The way you check the wifi connection from your Apple device to your Sharp TV is to first look for any interference.

Do you have a direct line from the router and modem to the Apple device and your Sharp TV?

If the router and modem are inside of a cabinet, that may be a sign that the signal is not as strong as it should be. Remove interference where you can.

You also want to look at the connection type of your router. Switch to a 5GHz wifi router if you have the option.

You want to have the router in the faster 802.11n mode. You do not want to have it in b/g mode as this will slow down the signal.

The final piece of the puzzle is to minimize any distance there is between the Sharp TV and the Apple device.

Place the two devices as close as possible and it will help to eliminate any of the lagging you are experiencing.

Resetting the Devices

Another problem area could just be the devices you are working with. A restart of an Apple device and the Sharp TV can go a long way to helping get rid of any lagging you are experiencing.

Try a hard reset of your Apple iPhone or iPad. When you do the reset it will change things up and refresh the connection.

This will help to clear out any cache and other memory which could be slowing down the connection. A reset can be something that, on its own, corrects any lagging you are experiencing.

How to Use AirPlay With Sharp TV?

The way you use AirPlay with your Sharp TV is the same as you would with any other device. The Sharp TV wills support Apple AirPlay natively through its smart television capabilities.

This will allow you to go into the Apple device and choose AirPlay as a casting option to send the signal to your television.

If you are not seeing the Sharp TV as an option to use AirPlay with, then it may be that your Sharp TV does not support the technology. You can still use AirPlay with your Apple TV.

Apple TV is going to be the easiest streaming box of the bunch.

Once you have Apple TV set up with your Sharp TV, the device will show as a streaming option with the Apple device.

You can now use AirPlay with your iPhone or iPad to send the signal to the Apple TV. You can do this with most applications, inclusive of videos and photographs you may have on your Apple device.

It is a great way to get this content to a television.
