How to check AirPods battery on Windows

As an AirPod user, I know how frustrating it can be to use them without knowing the battery level. I recently encountered this problem when trying to use my AirPods with my Windows computer. After doing some research and testing, I’m here to share with you how I solved this problem and the other solutions I discovered. In this blog post, I’m going to show you how to check your AirPods battery on Windows.

You cannot see the battery percentage on Windows natively. The only way to see the battery percentage on Windows is to install a third-party app such as the app MagicPods.

How to check AirPods battery on Windows

It is not possible to see the battery percentage of the AirPods or the AirPods case when using the default software in windows. However, there are third party options you can use to do it instead.

One option is to download the app MagicPods. By using MagicPods you will be able to see the battery percentage of your AirPods and you will also be able to benefit from other features such as automatic ear detection.

How to check AirPods battery on Windows free

There is not currently a free way to check the battery percentage of AirPods when using Windows.

In this case, the only way to do it would be to open your AirPods case with the AirPods inside next to an iPhone or iPad if you own one.

What other ways can I check AirPods battery level?

Unless you can pay for the MagicPods app, there are no other ways to check the AirPods battery level when using Windows.

However, you can check the battery percentage if you happen to own an iPhone or iPad by putting the AirPods in the case and opening the case near to the iPhone or iPad.

Alternatively, you can take the AirPods and open the lid of the case. If it flashes green, it means that the case has at least one full charge remaining.

If you open the case while the AirPods are inside, a green light means that the AirPods are fully charged.
