  2. From that menu, navigate until you find the mirroring icon and click on it.
  3. Now go to your Android phone and open the drop-down menu (the black screen that overlays your display when you slide your finger from the top.)
  4. This screen has various icons, depending on the model of your phone, the screen mirroring icon will have the name “Screen Cast” or “Smart View.”

Just like the Android phone, your iPhone should be on the same network as your TV. Make sure of that and follow these steps:

  1. Open the app store on your iPhone and look for an app named Mirror for Roku. Download and install that app on your iPhone.
  2. At this point, your Insignia Fire TV should be turned on and discoverable. To make it discoverable, navigate to the mirroring icon and click on it just like you did with the Android phone.
  3. Go back to your iPhone and open Roku MIrror. You should see a simple interface with a purple rectangle on top that says: No Device Connected.
  4. Click on that icon and an automatic search will begin. It should instantly find your TV if you’re close to it.
  5. Click on your Insignia TV and connect to it.
  6. Your phone will then ask you to “install channel on Roku”. Just click install.
  7. Your TV screen will change and give you the option to add a channel. Use your remote to click on that. It will load for a few seconds and then ask you to “install streamer for Roku.”
  8. Go back to your iPhone. A prompt will show up. Just click “done.”
  9. On your iPhone screen, you’ll see various options from which you can choose from. Click on the Screen Mirror.
