Why is YouTube Slow on Vizio TV?

Having recently purchased a Vizio TV, I was excited to start streaming my favorite YouTube content. But, to my dismay, YouTube was incredibly slow to load and constantly buffering. After hours of Googling and troubleshooting, I was able to get YouTube up and running smoothly on my Vizio TV.

Why Does YouTube Keep Buffering on My Vizio TV?

YouTube keeps buffering on a Vizio TV because the YouTube app is having trouble connecting to the internet.

This means it is able to only load small portions of a show at a time, which causes it to lag and buffering to load more content.

Improving the connection will allow YouTube to stream content more effectively and reduce buffering.

How to Get YouTube Working with Vizio TV

There are steps you can take right now to get YouTube working on your Vizio brand TV. The first thing to do is to make sure your Vizio TV has a strong internet connection.

After that, you should try closing and reopening the YouTube app, restarting your Vizio TV, and checking for any software updates for either the YouTube app or the TV itself.
