In practice, the easiest thing to do is to just attach the Apple Pencil to the side of the iPad.

However, it is also the case that you don’t really need to worry about the charge in the pencil because of how fast you can charge it.

With that being said, there is a very important reason why you should allow the pencil to have 0% charge for too long.
